The Governor's Drought and Water Supply Advisory Committee (DWSAC) serves as Montana's primary drought management body. Chaired by the Director of the DNRC, the DWSAC comprises representatives from seven state agencies and is authorized by statute to develop and implement drought management plans to build resilience against drought conditions.
