Ed Greiberis joined MT DES in 2015, initially as the State Exercise Coordinator, Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), and then served as a Preparedness Coordinator.  He is currently a District Field Officer/Duty Officer working primarily in the North West District. Ed's ICS positions include Liaison Officer trainee LNO(t), Documentation Unit Leader trainee DOCL(t), and Situation Unit Leader Trainee SITL(t).

He served 20 years in the United States Air Force as an F-4 and F-16 Mechanic, quality assurance evaluator, and safety NCO. Ed joined a volunteer firefighter/EMS program after relocating to Montana and worked as a snowplow operator for MDT during winter and as an Emergency firefighter for DNRC during summer. In 2003, he accepted a position with DNRC as Fuel Truck driver/Crewmember, and then served as a Helitack supervisor and Helibase manager.
