Course Description: The purpose of this course is to educate students in the process of developing quality mitigation planning and project grant application elements for the Unified Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grant programs.
L0212 Course Goal: Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
• Identify the role of mitigation and its benefits to society.
• Identify and describe mitigation planning and project activities.
• Identify and describe the Unified HMA grant programs.
• Identify and describe the phases of the Unified HMA Federal Award life cycle.
